TERMS AND CONDITIONS – OLIVOID (SCULPTURES & APPAREL)

Before you make your purchase, please read these Terms. They explain in simple terms how our clothing collections (Olivoid brand) and our handmade wood sculptures work.
1. WHO WE ARE?
The website www.olivoid.com is operated by Rafael Neves / Olivoid, with VAT number [Your VAT Number], based at Rua da Mosqueira, n°7, Póvoa do Bispo, Portugal.

Important Note About Production:
For the Olivoid apparel collection, we work with Printful for printing and shipping. This means that although you buy from Olivoid, the product is printed on demand and shipped directly from Printful's fulfillment center to your home.
For the sculptures, production is done by hand by us, in Portugal.
2. OUR OLIVOID APPAREL COLLECTION (DROPSHIPPING)
We sell exclusive clothing and accessories from the Olivoid brand.
• The images on the site are as accurate as possible, but due to lighting and your device's screen, colors may vary slightly.
• Since production is made to order, we don't hold physical stock. Each piece is created only when you place an order.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
• Prices include VAT (at the Portuguese legal rate).
• Shipping costs are calculated and clearly presented before you complete your purchase.
• Accepted payments: Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and PayPal.
• Security: Our site uses SSL encryption. Your payment details are not stored on our site, but on the secure Stripe and PayPal platforms.
4. HOW DELIVERY WORKS (OLIVOID APPAREL)?
Since each product is printed on demand, delivery times are split into two parts:
1. Production Time: 2 to 7 business days (to print and prepare the package).
2. Shipping Time:
- Portugal and Europe: 3 to 5 business days after leaving the warehouse.
- Rest of the World: Up to 15 business days (may vary depending on customs).
Estimated total: Between 5 and 15 business days for most orders in Europe.
As soon as the package leaves the warehouse, you'll receive an email with a tracking code so you can follow the delivery.
5. HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS: WOOD SCULPTURES
Products in this category are unique pieces, hand-carved by Rafael Neves / Olivoid. Due to the nature of the material and the artisanal process, specific conditions apply:
5.1. Uniqueness and Natural Variations
Each sculpture is one of a kind and unrepeatable. The wood (especially olive wood) has natural grain, knots, and color variations. The images on the site are faithful references, but the final piece may show slight differences in color, texture, or dimensions (tolerance of +/- 1cm). This is not a defect, but rather a characteristic of the authenticity of handmade art.
5.2. Production and Lead Times
Because they are handmade, lead times vary depending on the complexity of the piece. The estimated timeframe will be indicated on the product page or communicated by email after confirmation.
5.3. Care and Maintenance
Wood is a natural material. We recommend:
• Keep the piece away from direct sources of heat or extreme humidity.
• Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid abrasive chemical products.
• (Optional) Apply linseed oil or beeswax occasionally to maintain the shine.
5.4. Delivery (Sculptures)
Sculptures are packed and shipped directly by us. The shipping timeframe will be agreed upon at the time of purchase or indicated on the product page. The risk of loss or damage during transit is borne by the seller until delivery.
6. RETURN POLICY (RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)
In Portugal, the law gives you the right to change your mind. You have 14 days from the day you receive the product to return it, without needing to give a reason.
Conditions for returning:
• The product must be unused, in the same condition in which you received it (tags attached, unwashed, undamaged).
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• To start a return, send us an email at olivoid@proton.me and we'll send you the instructions.
Refund:
Once we receive the product back and check its condition, we'll process the refund within 14 days.
7. DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEMS (WARRANTY)
If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, a bad print, damage, or if the wrong item was sent, don't worry. We'll sort it out.
• Timeframe: You have up to 2 years of legal warranty to claim defects.
• How to claim: Send us an email at olivoid@proton.me within 14 days of receipt (to make the process easier), with photos of the defect and your order number.
• Our solution: We'll send a replacement product free of charge or issue a full refund, according to your preference.
Note: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect washing, drops (in the case of sculptures), or normal wear and tear.
8. LOST ORDERS
If more than 30 days pass and you still haven't received your order, or if the tracking code shows "delivered" but you haven't received it, let us know immediately. We'll contact the carrier and Printful (or the postal service, for sculptures) to resolve the situation (reshipment or refund).
9. DATA PROTECTION
Your privacy matters to us. Your personal data is used only to process the order, ship the product, and comply with legal (tax) obligations. We don't share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data processing follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All prints, logos, and designs from Olivoid are our intellectual property or that of our licensed partners. All sculptures are original works of art protected by copyright. It is prohibited to use our images to resell products or for commercial purposes without authorization.
11. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the court at your place of residence shall have jurisdiction, always respecting consumer rights. You may also use the Electronic Complaints Book (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) or the EU dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
